The Delta PF is a hemispherical cementless acetabular cup manufactured in Titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) with a double coating of Porous Titanium and Hydroxyapatite. The Delta PF cup represents the current high standard for primary hip replacement. The Delta PF has a nominal 1.2mm press-fit with respect to the acetabular reamer, this allows for great primary stability.

The Delta PF has the ability to act as a blind and cluster-hole cup, with 3 holes in the cranial area that are occluded with removable plugs, these can be removed to allow further primary stabilization by means of bone screws. The Delta PF cup is available in sizes from 44 mm to 66 mm diameter.

The Delta PF is a modular and versatile cup: as part of the Delta system it allows a wide range of combinations and bearing options to provide a solution for any indication, both in primary and in basic revision surgery, helping in restoring the correct anatomy and reducing the risk of dislocation.

Bearing options for the Delta PF include Ceramic, X-Linked (X-LIMA) Poly, Vitamin-E enriched (LimaVit) Poly and Dual Mobility liners. All poly liners are available in both standard and protruded options.

The Delta range of cups also carry a unique polar peg on all the liners to ensure correct alignment upon insertion into the shell. This helps avoid cross-locking that can lead to rim chipping and early failure of liners.
